• By the beginning of the award period, awardees must be fully enrolled in graduate school at a CPU2AL partner institution and pursuing a PhD or an MS degree with thesis.

  • Awardees must maintain a GPA of 3.0 or higher.

  • PhD candidates must pass the comprehensive exam after two years of entering graduate school.

  • Awardees must submit a mid-term report after six months of each appointment period describing research progress (appointment continuation is contingent upon approval of mid-term report).

  • Awardees must submit an annual report to request appointment renewal.

  • Awardees must submit a final report at the end of the appointment.

  • Awardees must deliver a presentation every year at the Annual CPU2AL meeting.
