A Small Business Expo will be hosted by the Small Business Development Center (SBDC) at The University of Alabama in Huntsville (UAH) from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Wednesday, March 21, at the Jackson Center, 6001 Moquin Dr.

Tickets for attendees are free, but you must register to attend. Harrison Diamond, business relations officer at the City of Huntsville, will make opening remarks.

The event will feature workshops on small business funding, international trade, social media use, government contracting, co-working spaces and incubators, trends in taxation and insurance for small business.

Vendors will display services and products, including virtual office space, equipment rental and purchase and more, and will include area Chambers of Commerce, lenders, insurance agents, attorneys and Certified Public Accountants.

The event is being held in coordination with SBDCs from around the country that are coming together for one special day to celebrate their impact on the success of dreamers, innovators and doers – America’s small businesses. Follow #SBDCDay to join the conversation.
