I ended up switching to Psychology and fell in love with laboratory research involving student learning and memory. Having faculty that were involved in developing my skills as a critical thinker and researcher. Further, they helped me understand the value of a liberal arts education is to learn how to think and what things are worth spending my attention on. Having friends throughout undergraduate and graduate school that supported me, helped me grow, and challenged me. Publishing my first paper and completing my doctorate.
