The University of Alabama in Huntsville is pleased to announce that nominations are now being accepted for the 2025 UAH Foundation Staff Awards. These prestigious awards honor four exceptional staff members who demonstrate excellence in their roles and contribute significantly to the UAH community. Award recipients will receive a $1,000 award and a Certificate of Appreciation, and will be celebrated at a special ceremony in late Spring.
Award Categories:
- Staff Excellence Award (Two awards: one non-exempt and one exempt employee)
- Facilities Excellence Award
- Leadership Award
Eligibility:
Faculty and staff are invited to submit nominations. However, please note that these awards are for staff employees only; faculty nominations will follow a separate process. More information regarding faculty nominations will be provided by Academic Affairs.
Nomination Process:
1. Nominate a Staff Member – Submit nominations on the Google Nomination Form.
2. Key Reasons Form – Upload a Statement of Key Reasons outlining why your nominee deserves the award. Please provide specific, detailed examples of the nominee’s contributions.
3. Additional Documents (Optional) – You may email any relevant supporting documents to staffawards@uah.edu.
All nominations must be submitted by 5:00 p.m. on Friday, February 28th, 2025.
A Selection Committee composed of past award recipients will review all nominations and select this year’s awardees. Please note that employees who received a Staff Award in 2022, 2023, or 2024 are not eligible for nomination.
