The UAH Special Events and Alumni Relations team is an integral part of sharing our message and engaging with our many growing communities. Beginning November 18, 2024, the Special Events and Alumni Relations team will transition from the University Advancement division and will report to the Strategic Communications division.
Kelly Myers will continue to lead the combined team. This change will allow for greater collaboration among the Office of Marketing and Communications to amplify our story and reinvigorate our alumni relations efforts.
The University Advancement division will continue to include annual giving, major gifts, planned giving, advancement services, and the UAH Foundation. With major projects such as the Raymond B. Jones Engineering Building, the Bevill Center renovation, and others, fundraising efforts are now even more pivotal to helping us grow our campus.
Our plan is to make this transition as seamless as possible so that our upcoming events are not disrupted. Again, we are looking forward to how we can grow and engage with our communities and make a lasting impression.
