As communicated in the May 2022 OIT Newsletter, OIT has recently launched the UAH Get Connected wireless network. It enables guests to self-register their devices and access the guest campus Wi-Fi for 7 days. It is no longer necessary for UAH event planners to coordinate with OIT for guest network access.

To connect, the user should:

  1. Choose UAH Get Connected from available networks
  2. Supply, when prompted, their name and mobile phone number
  3. Check their text messages to obtain the numerical code that was sent
  4. Enter that code into the portal where prompted

The user will be connected to the UAH Get Connected network, and their access will remain for 7 days.

Eventually, the UAHEvents, Guest5, Faculty5, Staff5, and Student5 networks will be retired so that only eduroam and UAH Get Connected will be available as the official and supported methods of accessing the campus wireless network.
