October 6, 2021 During the 2021 Legislative Session, the Legislature passed Act 2021-537 to allow TRS Tier II members to convert unused sick leave to service credit at retirement. The Act also increased the TRS Tier II member contribution rate from 6% to 6.2% (7% to 7.2% for certified law enforcement officers).
