Dr. Marsha Adams has served The University of Alabama in Huntsville (UAH) passionately and selflessly for seven years as Dean of the College of Nursing. Her accomplishments are numerous both at UAH and in the national Nursing arena. We are grateful for her leadership and outstanding service and give her our best wishes for an enjoyable retirement.

As Dr. Adams prepares for her retirement, it is our pleasure to announce the appointment of Dr. Karen Frith as Interim Dean of the College of Nursing at UAH effective August 1, 2021. Dr. Frith will serve as Interim Dean until a Dean is hired from the search that is currently underway.

Dr. Frith has been at UAH for 14 years and is currently the Associate Dean of Graduate Programs.
