As we charge toward the end of Spring term, we would like to share a few pieces of information to help our students successfully finish the semester.

Academic Integrity.  Integrity is one of the key tenets of the UAH Creed. The UAH Creed states the expectation that students will practice and defend academic and personal honesty. Pass/Withdraw Grading Option.  When their program allows Pass/Withdraw grading, students will have the opportunity to opt-in to Pass/Withdraw grading on a course-by-course basis.  When considering whether to keep your assigned grade or select the Pass/Withdraw option please be sure to discuss your individual situation with your advisors, the Office of Financial Aid, and your faculty. You have from 12:01 a.m. on Friday, May 7 until 11:59 p.m. on Tuesday, May 11 to view your assigned grades, decide whether to keep your grade or opt-in for Pass/Withdraw and submit your change.  This deadline will not be extended.  After May 11, all grade choices are final and cannot be changed.

Step-by-step instructions for viewing your grades, selecting Pass/Withdraw, if you so choose, and submitting the change, will be sent to you prior to the end of the semester.

Nightly Grade Updates. When we enter the final exam period, faculty will begin posting final grades to Banner, typically within 48 hours after the final exam.  The Registrar’s Office will post grades nightly so that you can see your grade and make a decision as to whether to keep your grade for a given course or change the grade to Pass/Withdraw. If you do not see a grade for a given course, please check again later.

Register for Summer and Fall Classes.  Even though we are still wrapping up Spring semester, in order to obtain the schedule you want, it is important to register for Summer and Fall semesters soon. Please be sure to check in with your academic advisors now in order to ensure you have your schedule in place before leaving at the end of spring semester.
