On March 2, 2020, the UAH staff employment process will have a new, fresh look.  A recently acquired, market-leading talent management system, PageUp, will enhance the experience of  UAH internal and external job applicants, enabling greater ability to search for and track UAH employment opportunities, across desktop and mobile platforms.

“Our new system will provide a best-in-class applicant and hiring manager experience, which better reflects the various ways that today’s applicants expect to engage with prospective employers”, says Laurel C. Long, Associate Vice President for Human Resources.  “This change is one of many planned enhancements to our Human Resources services, in our continual efforts to support optimal workforce performance, strategically partner with UAH colleges, centers, and departments, and serve the needs of people across the University.”

UAH preparation for the implementation of the new system will include end-user training, online help tools, and work labs the week of go-live to ensure that users are ready for the new technology. Once implemented, PageUp will automate the development and review of job descriptions, job postings, employment applications, applicant screening, and notable portions of new hire paperwork processing.
