If you are not currently enrolled, you can elect coverage in the program during open enrollment with no evidence of insurability and no waiting periods on pre-existing conditions. If you are currently enrolled, you will have the same plan benefits at lower premium cost. Your coverage will continue unless you elect to cancel it. If you do not enroll during the annual open enrollment, late entrants will be subject to a longer elimination period for the first year of coverage. Why Short Term Disability Insurance benefits?
