June 2019 Staff Senate Report

  • The University of Alabama System Board of Trustees has voted to designate the Greenway “Altenkirch Lawn” in honor of Dr. Altenkirch.
  • A crosswalk has been put in place in front of the Optics Building and MSB.
  • University Recreation is offering adult swim lessons. Deadline to register is July 9th. More info available on the UFC website.
  • Please register all Week of Welcome events for the Fall semester through the Office of Student Life. They will be booking the spaces on your behalf in Astra.
  • Charger Union/Event Services will no longer be booking/servicing events in the CTC Exhibit Hall after the Fall 2019 semester.
