University Fitness Center Update

Dear Members,
The University Fitness Center at The University of Alabama in Huntsville has served the campus and Huntsville/Madison county community for the last 17 years under the management of our partners, Fitness Management Associates. In an effort to continue to strengthen the relationship between the University and the community, while continuing to provide our growing student population a robust campus recreation experience the University will assume the management responsibilities of the University Fitness Center facility and its programs as of October 1, 2018. We would like to extend our sincere appreciation and gratitude to the Fitness Management Associates team for almost two decades of service. 

Throughout this transition, you will continue to see a great deal of familiar faces around the Fitness Center as a large number of the personal trainers, group exercise instructors, and administrative staff that you all have cultivated relationships with throughout the years have elected to remain as part of the University Fitness Center family. We will also be welcoming a number of new administrative staff to ensure that our mission of remaining a comprehensive recreation facility that provides a clean and safe place to work out while maintaining the latest in fitness programming is achieved for you and your family. 

Lastly, we would like to hear from you. Our members are an important part of the University Fitness Center community and we would love the opportunity to learn a little more about you, how you utilize your membership, as well as some general feedback about your experience with us.
