The UAH campus will close for winter break from Friday, December 22, 2017, through Monday, January 1, 2018. Campus will re-open Tuesday, January 2, 2018, at 8:15 a.m.. Gifts by credit card ONLINE To ensure that your credit card gift is in for the 2017 tax year, please use our secure online giving form – GIVE NOW – through 11:59 p.m., Sunday, December 31, 2017. VIA MAIL Credit card gifts sent via mail must be received by Wednesday, December 27, 2017, to receive tax credit in the 2017 calendar year. (This is the final UAH mail delivery date for the calendar year.) Any credit card gift received by mail after Wednesday, December 27, 2017, even if the postmark date is prior to December 31, 2017, will not process until the 2018 calendar year. For tax purposes, the transaction date of a credit card gift sent via mail is based on process date rather than postmark date. Gifts by check Please make checks payable to “UAH Foundation” and note the gift designation in the check memo. Checks can be hand-delivered to the Office of Development, Shelbie King Hall (corner of Sparkman Drive and Technology Drive), Room 316, until 12:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 21, 2017. Checks received via mail with a postmark prior to December 31, 2017, will receive credit as a 2017 tax-deductible gift. Checks with a 2017 check date but a postmark-date in 2018 must be processed as a 2018 calendar year gift.
