The University of Alabama in Huntsville (UAH) Office of Professional and Continuing Education (OPCE) is now accepting applications for the first cohort of the Leadership Accelerator Academy. UAH faculty and staff are encouraged to apply and are eligible for an exclusive discounted tuition rate.
The professional leadership program is designed for early or mid-level career managers who demonstrate leadership potential and have some level of supervisory responsibilities. The program exposes leaders to diverse ideas and methods on topics that complement and enhance their organization. The Leadership Accelerator Academy encourages fresh ways of thinking while discovering new directions for leaders at all levels.

Professionals accepted into the academy will learn to develop greater self-awareness and strengthen leadership style and effectiveness, build trust and confidence with superiors, employees, and peers, create high-functioning teams, establish standards for productivity, processes, quality, conduct, and timeliness, and identify and resolve conflict using common approaches and best practices.
Applications are now open and will close on July 14, 2023. The academy will kick off on August 31, 2023, and will be followed by all-day monthly cohort meetings, each focused on a specific professional leadership topic
