November 28, 2018 Please help us welcome our new Nurse Practitioner in the Faculty and Staff Clinic, Connie Abbott. Connie is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner. She obtained her Master’s Degree in Nursing from the University of Central Florida in 2005 and has over thirteen years of clinical experience in family practice. She relocated to Huntsville in 2013 with her husband and two children and is actually a returning face here at the University of Alabama Huntsville where she practiced in the Student Health Center from 2013 to 2017. She has a particular interest in wellness and health promotion as well as diabetes care having also practiced as a certified diabetes educator. She is an active member of the North Alabama Nurse Practitioner’s Association and is on the Speaker’s Bureau for Alger-Lee Advanced Practice Seminars.
