Woolf's working title for Mrs. Dalloway was The Hours.  Michael Cunningham's novel of that title is a modern adaptation of Mrs. Dalloway, a fascinating read especially for those who know the Woolf novel.  It's now a movie with Meryl Streep, Julianne Moore, and (gasp) Nicole Kidman as Virginia Woolf.  The soundtrack is great.  Check out The Hours website.
