What are Instructional Testing Services hours?
Our office is open from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday. We offer two testing blocks, 9:00 AM and 1:00 PM, Monday through Friday. Due to being a reduced distraction lab, no exception can be made to these testing block times.
Where is Instructional Testing Services located?
We are in Wilson Hall, Room 225. Wilson Hall is on Ben Graves Drive and commuters can park in Parking Lot G5.
How do I schedule for a Deferred Exam?
ITS offer deferred exams on the first Friday of the new semester. Appointments are arranged directly with your instructor. Once confirmed, the instructor will then provide the examination and instructions to ITS.
How do I schedule a DSS Accommodated Exam?
DSS students who have activated their accommodation for the semester will need to log into Accessible Information Management (AIMS) to schedule their exam. Please use the link below to schedule your exam.

How do I schedule a Make-Up Exam?
All make-up exams must be approved by your instructor BEFORE contacting ITS. Please use the link below to schedule an appointment.
What if I show up late for my appointment?
Doors close at exactly 9:00 AM and 1:00 PM. We encourage students to check in at least 15 minutes before their appointment. In an event a student is unable to arrive on time, he/she must contact their Instructor for rescheduling options. A cumulative of 3 missed appointments during the semester will result in a loss of testing privileges for the remaining semester. Should this occur, students will be referred back to the Instructor for the remainder of the semester.
Will I need to show identification?
We require all examinees to present a current photo ID. This includes any government issued or UAH student ID.
What items are not allowed in the testing lab?
Examinees will not be permitted to bring:
- Food and drinks
- Unauthorized testing aids
- Cell Phones, or any other electronic devices
- Watches, hats, sunglasses, wallets, and anything in their pockets
Lockers are available for examinees to store these items while testing.
What should I bring to the testing lab?
It is suggested that examinees bring a sweater or jacket. Examinees may also bring any items approved by their Instructor such as calculators, notes, books, etc. ONLY those items which are approved will be allowed in the testing lab. Our office provides pens, pencils and scratch paper if needed.
Will you remind me of my appointment?
Testing Services does not send out appointment reminders. We will notify the student within 24-48 hours if their professor has not sent their exam. Student is responsible for all communication with their professor concerning their appointment.
