How do I get to the office?

Wilson Hall is on Ben Graves Drive, Parking Lot G5.

Please arrive 10-15 minutes prior to your appointment for check-in.

Parking is limited, please plan accordingly.  

How do I register for a test?

Please call Instructional Testing Services 256.824.6725 to register for a test.

The following information is required to schedule an appointment:

  • Student Name
  • UAH email
  • Course + Course # (E.g. ESS 111)
  • Professor Name
  • Date 
  • Time (We offer 2 testing blocks, 9:00 AM & 1:00 PM) 

A weeks notice should be given for all appointments.  This allows ample time for you to communicate with your professor and have the exam sent over to us.

What are Instructional Testing Services hours?

We are open for testing from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM Monday through Friday.  We offer two testing blocks, 9:00 AM and 1:00 PM.  Due to being a reduced distraction lab, no exceptions can be made to these testing block times.

What building is Instructional Testing Services located in?

Our office is located in Room 225 of Wilson Hall.

What items should NOT be brought to the test center?

Examinees will not be permitted to bring food, drinks, unauthorized testing aids, cell phones, or any other electronic device into the examination room. Lockers are available for examinees that need to store these items while testing.

What should I bring to the test center?

It is suggested that examinees bring a sweater or jacket. Examinees may also bring any items approved by the Instructor such as calculators, notes, books, etc. ONLY those items which are approved will be allowed in the testing room. Our office provides pens, pencils and scratch paper if needed.

Will I need to show identification?

We require all examinees to present a current photo ID.

Will you remind me of my appointment?

Testing Services does not send out appointment reminders.  We will notify the student within 24-48 hours if their professor has not sent their exam.  Student is responsible for all communication with their professor concerning their appointment.
