The Sustainability Program's Strategic Plan was developed to provide a clear direction for improving our rating on the Sustainability Tracking, Assessment, and Rating System (STARS) report, as well as to promote sustainable practices on campus. This strategic plan aims to increase our rating from bronze to silver, while also fostering greater engagement across campus regarding sustainability and cultivating a sustainability-minded community. The strategic plan encompasses the following components for each section and subsection:

  1. About: This component provides a comprehensive overview of the specific section or subsection, including its objectives, importance, and relevance to sustainability initiatives at our institution.
  2. strategic plan

  3. Methodology: The methodology component outlines the approach taken to assess and evaluate the current performance and practices within the given section or subsection. It may include data collection methods, analysis techniques, and benchmarks used to measure progress.
  4. Results: This component presents the findings and outcomes from the assessment and evaluation conducted within the section or subsection. It highlights the strengths, weaknesses, and areas for improvement identified during the evaluation process.
  5. Proposed Strategies: The proposed strategies component outlines actionable steps and initiatives that will be implemented to address the identified areas for improvement. These strategies are designed to enhance sustainability practices, meet specific goals, and align with the overall objectives of the section or subsection.

By incorporating these components into the strategic plan, we ensure a comprehensive and structured approach to enhancing sustainability across various aspects of our institution.
