Apply for Membership There are four levels of membership available. Industry Associate membership is $5000/year; Academic membership is $3000/year; Industry Affiliate membership is $2000/year; and Federal/State Government membership is no fee. In kind contributions can be considered in lieu of cash. Benefits of membership at all levels include access to talent, training opportunities, consideration for participation in proposals, networking with others in the Collaborative, and invitation to Collaborative meetings and discussions. Beyond the benefits common to all, the following are specific to membership levels. Industrial Associate members may have one voting member representative on the governance board; priority for teaming arrangements on proposals for grants/contracts; priority and early registration for training opportunities; and, opportunity to participate in joint R&D projects using available machines. Academic members have the same benefits as Industrial Associate members if they have a minimum of three faculty members with interests in quantum science research. Academic members with less than three faculty with quantum science interest have membership benefits equivalent to Industry Affiliate members. Industry Affiliate members receive an invitation to all Collaborative meetings and events; are considered for teaming opportunities on a priority basis for proposals; and, receive opportunities to participate in joint R&D projects. Industry Affiliates are not voting members of the governance board. Federal/State Government members receive an invitation to participate in all Collaborative meetings and events. Government members may participate in the Collaborative governance board. Membership The membership agreement is subject to review and approval by the SQC Governing Board.
