Student Organizations at UAH

There are multiple student organizations at UAH geared toward pre-health professional fields.

Getting involved on campus is a great way to meet new people with similar interests as well as gain experience through various activities and events. It can also lead to great networking and leadership opprtunities that are essential components of any pre-health professional student's resume. All pre-health students at UAH are strongly encouraged to get involved in at least one pre-health organization on campus to gain insight into their field of interest and to network with peers pursuing similar goals.

  • Alpha Epsilon Delta is a pre-health honor society and service organization. Its mission is to encourage and recognize excellence in pre-health scholarship.
  • The UAH Biological Society promotes and cultivates higher learning in the biological sciences. Membership introduces students to career opportunities, academic and professional speakers, and opportunities to interact with peers.
  • Global Medical Brigades connects passionate students with real-world healthcare experience in under-resourced communities across Honduras, Panama, Guatemala, Ghana, Belize, and Greece.
  • The Pre-Health Society serves all UAH students interested in a pre-health field. Their goal is to connect pre-health students and to build a stronger pre-health community at UAH.
