Biography

Dr. Robert Griffin is an applied Earth scientist and environmental anthropologist. His research spans disciplinary boundaries and focuses on complex socio-environmental phenomena using satellite remote sensing and geographic information analysis. He conducts federally-funded research, mentors students, and teaches courses at the undergraduate and graduate levels. In addition, he provides service on a number of local and national boards of directors and as a consultant in geographic information analysis and capacity building.
