Mr. Nishanth Goli

Biography

Mr. Goli received his Masters in Aerospace Engineering from The University of Alabama in Huntsville in 2014. He graduated with a Thesis titled, “Development of an Integrated UAS for Agricultural Imaging Applications” and an Outstanding Graduate student award in the Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering for the year 2014. Prior coming to UAH, Mr. Goli completed his Bachelors in Aeronautical Engineering from Aeronautical Society of India. At RSESC, he is involved with design, development and fabrication of Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS). His research interests include Unmanned Air Vehicles (UAV) design and applications, Navigation and Control, Sensor development and Integration. He uses a systems-based approach to meet the requirements of projects. He is also involved in developing novel guidance methods for UAV and defining the efficiencies of multi-rotors compared to traditional vertical life aircraft. He is a member of Phi Kappa Phi and Tau Beta Pi honorary organizations. He is also a professional member of The American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics (AIAA) and American Helicopter Society (AHS).
