The Ecomet 3000 is a variable speed grinder/polisher. It is a low profile along with a 203 mm (8") aluminum plate and a universal mount. The platen speed ranges from 10 to 500 rpm. A pop-up water dispensing arm can be positioned over the platen and the amount of water dispensed can be regulated by the flow control valve. It is particularly used in getting material samples to 10 or fewer microns.
