The University of Alabama in Huntsville (UAH) Commencement ceremonies takes place at the Von Braun Center in the Propst Arena.

Event Parking

Parking is available at Von Braun Center parking lots and surrounding City of Huntsville parking lots and garages. (See links for parking and fee information.)

Event Information

No tickets are required for families and guests to enter the Von Braun Center Propst Arena. Guests are strongly encouraged to refrain from excessively loud forms of expression during the presentation of degrees in order to maintain proper decorum and to allow for the appropriate recognition of all the graduates. Air horns, whistles and any other noisemakers are prohibited. The VBC will open one hour prior to the ceremony.

Photography

The Commencement Committee has arranged to have Grad Images at the ceremony to take high quality photographs of graduates receiving their diplomas. NOTE: To preserve the dignity of the ceremony, members of the audience are not allowed to come up to the stage to take pictures. Each graduate will have the opportunity to purchase photo prints. Grad Images is the only photographer authorized by the University to sell photographs to graduates.

The UAH website will broadcast a live webcast of the UAH Commencement ceremony online for viewing.
