Countdown to Cap and Gown - Fall 2020 Ceremony

Spring & Summer Graduates, and Fall Candidates,

Congratulations! All your hard work over the past few years is about to pay off with your graduation from college. And there's nothing like walking across that stage to get your diploma!

For the Fall 2020 ceremony, our Countdown to Cap and Gown has gone virtual!

Virtual Countdown to Cap and Gown.

Commencement will take place over two days. Monday, December 14 and Tuesday, December 15.

We are asking all graduates to RSVP Yes or No to the ceremony. The number of students that RSVP Yes will determine the number of ceremonies and which colleges/majors participate in each ceremony.

You will receive an email with the subject "RSVP for Commencement." Please follow the instructions in that email. The deadline to RSVP is November 13. Please remember, only those students that RSVP "YES" will be eligible to participate in the ceremony.

All students that RSVP Yes to the ceremony will receive four (4) guest tickets. Tickets will be distributed at a later date. The tickets are general admission at the VBC. You will receive an additional email about ticket distribution to your UAH email.

You can purchase your cap & gown in person at the UAH Bookstore, open Monday through Friday 8:30am-5:00pm. You can also purchase online at Oak Hall. The last day to purchase regalia online for Bachelor and Master students is November 27. Doctoral Students have two deadlines: Regalia Rental (November 27); Regalia Purchase (November 8)

You can purchase announcements online through Balfour.

Yes, each ceremony will be livestreamed on our website. A digital version of the ceremony program will be available at a later date.

Spring and Summer graduates have already received their diplomas in the mail. Fall candidates will receive their diplomas in the mail in February or March 2021. Information for Fall candidates about verifying your mailing address will be sent to your UAH email account.
