Number 07.07.05 Division Office of Environmental Health and Safety Date 09/01/2013 – Reviewed May 2021 Purpose Using the OSHA Bloodborne Pathogens Standard, 29 CFR 1910.1030 as a guide, UAH has developed an Exposure Control Plan, otherwise known as the UAH Bloodborne Pathogen Control Plan, to eliminate or minimize occupational exposure to bloodborne pathogens. Policy It is the policy of UAH that the most recent revision of the UAH Bloodborne Pathogen Control Plan must be followed by all members of the UAH community including staff, faculty, and students at all times.
