Biography

Sinceree Gunn is a senior English lecturer who has taught undergraduate courses at The University of Alabama in Huntsville (UAH) since 2000. In addition, she has taught professional development writing courses since 2008. Sinceree is an advocate of collaborative learning and incorporates workplace best practices and technology to enhance student engagement. With over 20 years of experience in the field, Sinceree has developed a reputation for being a skilled and effective instructor, dedicated to helping students achieve their goals and to helping professionals improve their communication skills.

Sinceree began her teaching career in Greenville, Mississippi in 1998. In 2003, she completed a master’s degree in English with certifications in technical writing, education and TESOL. Sinceree served in a variety of roles including proposal writer, advisor, tutor and English as a Second Language (ESL) instructor before she started her tenure as an English Lecturer at UAH.

During her tenure in the English department at UAH, Sinceree developed the first online and hybrid business writing courses and the first hybrid technical writing online course. She has taught online and hybrid courses for over 10 years and focuses on preparing students for remote and hybrid work environments, both in her course content and course structure.

Through her work as a writing Instructor, Sinceree has had a significant impact on the careers of countless individuals. She is regarded as a respected authority in communications, and her students appreciate her passion, dedication and content delivery style.
