He learned the basics of microfabrication, metrology, and cleanroom use during his time as a participant in the university's co-operative education program. In 2021 he received his M.S. in Electrical Engineering, also from The University of Alabama in Huntsville. His research topic during his graduate education was the design and analysis of gradient index diffractive optics. Education M.S.
