Save the date! UAH’s fifth annual Day of Giving is Tuesday, Nov. 27

One day one way to make a difference day of giving Nov. 27, 2018.

The University of Alabama in Huntsville (UAH) will host its fifth annual Day of Giving, a 24-hour online fundraising initiative that invites friends, family, and alumni to make a one-time gift in support of the university. The event will kick off at 12:01 a.m. the morning of Tuesday, Nov. 27, and close that evening at 11:59 p.m.

New to this year’s Day of Giving is a matching program, wherein an additional $50 will be donated to the UAH General Scholarship Fund for each of the first 50 gifts made.

"Four anonymous donors are making this year’s matching program possible," says Jennifer Brost, Director of Annual Giving & Research. "To them – and to everyone else who makes a gift during our annual Day of Giving – we say thank you. We could not do this without your generosity and willingness to give back to UAH."

Since its inception four years ago, UAH’s Day of Giving has raised over $25,000 in support of student scholarships, student research collaborations with faculty, campus speakers, student stipends for study-abroad opportunities, and athletics.

Donations are tax deductible and must be made during the designated 24-hour period to count toward the day’s total.
