Therapy dogs will relieve stress for UAH students during exam week.

As UAH students begin preparing for fall exams, the Louis Salmon Library will again host the Finals ReCharge from Monday, Dec. 1, through Wednesday, Dec. 10. ReCharge events are designed to ease the pressure of studying for final exams.
Finals ReCharge events include:
- Dec. 1 - Dec. 10 -the Graffiti Wall will be going up. We put a few huge sheets of white paper and then provide you with markers and let you write out your thoughts and ideas. Click the link, above, for some previous images. This will run the full time of Finals and tends to lead to interesting discussions.
- Dec. 3 - Study Day, we will have Self-Serve Coffee. It's free, just stop by the library beginning at 9 a.m., and pour yourself a cup. Self- serve coffee will continue for as long as supplies last.
- Dec. 4 - Therapy Dogs from 10 a.m., to noon. Come by and visit the dogs and pet and hang out with them. Therapy dogs are provided by Therapy Partners. Click the above link, to see pictures from previous ReCharge events.
- Dec. 5 - From 9 a.m., to 11 a.m., we will have Free Coffee and Donuts. Stop by and pick up refreshments in the lobby and visit with a librarian. This wraps up the first week.
- Dec. 8 - The second week will introduce our new event: Games Blast! For two days, Monday, Dec. 8, and Wednesday, Dec. 10, from 11 a.m., to 3 p.m. Library staff will set up game consoles and bring in a few board games and everyone is invited to stop by and play games for a little while in between studying for finals. Snacks will be provided.
- Dec. 9 - Another round of Self-Serve Coffee. Remember it's free beginning at 9 a.m., and pour yourself a cup. Self-serve coffee will continue for as long as supplies last.
