Makerspace Hours

The Makerspace is closed for interim & winter break. It will resume preview hours on January 6, 2020.

The M. Louis Salmon Library Makerspace is a place to collaborate, create, learn, and explore. It combines equipment, tools, and space for you to work on physical projects. This is not a computer lab; rather, it’s an area to print, build, finish, and otherwise bring your work to life. Need to paint a landscape for class? Want a real life version of your CAD model? Have a design you’d like as a poster? Like to make a prototype of your product idea? This is the place for UAH students, faculty, and staff to do that and more.

Currently the Makerspace has two LulzBot Taz 6 3D Printers and two Prusa i3 MK3 3D Printers, as well as a HP Designjet Z3200ps Poster Printer. We also have an assortment of tools, or you can bring your own. There are several tables to work, study, and hang out. In the future, we plan to add additional equipment, so let us know what you’d like to see next!
