Biography

Dr. Mengfei Ren is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Electrical and Computing Engineering. She received her Ph.D. degree in Computer Science from the University of Texas at Arlington in 2023. She also worked in the industry as a software engineer for several years before starting her Ph.D. degree. Currently, Dr. Ren's research interests span software engineering and cybersecurity. Specific areas of interest include fuzz testing with other advanced testing techniques, combinatorial testing, compiler optimization, security of IoT wireless protocol.
