His research involved investigating the effect of upper surface active flow blowing on different trailing edge geometries. After his graduation he worked at Unmanned Systems Research Institute at the University of Denver as a research scientist for two years, where he was supervising undergraduate and graduate students and conducting research on active flow blowing techniques. He was appointed Adjunct Professor in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Denver from September 2016 until December 2017, where he taught a mix of graduate and undergraduate courses in electrical and computer engineering. He has published the first book in Circulation Control based small-scale Unmanned Aircraft, 3 book chapters and 15 journal articles and conference proceedings. He is an AIAA member since 2012.
