How many people reading this right now are overwhelmed by graduating and finding a job? This is completely common in students that are about to graduate and even those planning for the longer term future. Most students hope to have the perfect job after graduation. One that offers a great paycheck and benefits, while also fitting into their ideal lifestyle, but in reality, many students do not start there.   7. Be respectful and acknowledge your teammates’ successes and hard work.
  8. Grow your network! Engage with your more experienced colleagues as well as people outside of your department to learn and form professional relationships.
  9. Make a plan! Set a goal you want to achieve. This can be both a short and long-term goal.
  10. Become an asset to your team. Be continually wanting to grow your knowledge of the company and job description. Do not hesitate to ask questions.
