Prior to joining UAH in 2021, she was an adjunct professor of management at California State Polytechnic University, Pomona in the school of Management and Human Resources. She earned her M.A. in organizational behavior from Claremont Graduate University and a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Winston-Salem State University. She is currently completing her Ph.D. in organizational behavior from Claremont Graduate University. She has presented at both national and international conferences and has a publication in the Journal of Leadership and Organizational Studies. She is the recipient of several fellowships and awards for her research on racially inclusive leadership development including the Jenness Hannigan research fellowship.
