As of November 19, all UAH Google Workspace accounts (including Gmail, Drive, and Calendar) have been integrated with our UAH Single Sign-On (SSO) system.

This change standardizes your login experience. You will now be prompted for your password on the same UAH login page that you use for other services like Canvas and myUAH, not on the Google website.

What to Expect
You have not been logged out of any devices where you are already signed in. Due to Google's lengthy timeout settings, you may not see this new login screen for days or even weeks. The next time you are prompted to sign in, the process will be:

  1. Enter your full chargerID@uah.edu on the Google page.
  2. You will be redirected to the familiar UAH SSO login page.
  3. Log in with your Charger ID, password, and approve the Duo prompt.
  4. One-Time Confirmation: The very first time you do this, Google will ask you to confirm your identity. Simply click "Continue" or "Confirm" to link your account.

Action Required for Phone & Desktop Apps:
If you use an application like Outlook, Apple Mail, or a smartphone mail app, you may need to remove and re-add your account after your transition date to continue receiving email.
