Dear Faculty and Staff,
As part of our continued commitment to maintaining a safe and supportive campus environment, we are implementing a new mandatory training requirement in compliance with the Stop Campus Hazing Act, signed into law in December.
All faculty and staff are required to complete the "Recognize and Prevent Hazing" training module. This initiative aims to increase awareness, prevention and response to hazing behaviors within our campus community.
Training Details
- Training Title: Recognize and Prevent Hazing
- Deadline to Complete: Friday, Sept. 12, 2025
- Estimated Time to Complete: Approximately 20 minutes
- Access Instructions:
- Log in to your MyUAH account
- Select “Employees Show More”
- Under the Human Resources category, select “New Employee Training”
- You will be directed to the Learning Management System
- The training course, Recognize and Prevent Hazing, has been assigned to you and will appear on your dashboard for easy access
The training provides critical information on identifying hazing, understanding its impact and taking steps to prevent and report such behavior. Completion is mandatory and will be tracked. Reminder notifications will be sent to those who have not completed the training by the stated deadline.
