Faculty and Staff,
As recently announced, a search committee was formed to identify candidates for the Chief Administrative Officer position. The newly created CAO position will oversee the departments of Facilities & Operations, Human Resources/Payroll, Information Technology, Risk Management and Compliance, and the UAH Police Department.
The search committee included a cross-section of UAH faculty and staff, and was chaired by Dr. Ronnie Hebert, VP-Student Affairs and Dean of Students. Through thoughtful consideration and assessment, the search committee reviewed over 100 job applications and narrowed the applicant pool to three final candidates. These candidates will visit UAH next week, and each of them will give a presentation that will be open to faculty and staff. The presentations will occur on June 24th, June 25th, and June 26th, from 9:30 - 10:15 AM in the SSB Campus Visitor Theater.
We invite you to attend and learn more about each candidate. Please note that attendance will be first-come, first-served and limited to available seating each day. Each candidate has been asked to speak about a large-scale change initiative that they led or were significantly involved in, and to highlight their strategic vision, business acumen, commitment to excellence, and approach to interdisciplinary collaboration.
We hope to see you there.
The Office of Human Resources, on behalf of the Chief Administrative Officer Search Committee
