During UAH’s Christmas and New Year holiday break (December 22, 2023 through January 2, 2024), the Central Receiving Building (REC) and Mail Services (CRB Room 104) will be open for your convenience on Thursday, December 28, 2023 from 8:00AM to Noon (Central Time Zone).

 

Off-campus, incoming mail will be received and processed; however, no packages or mail will be delivered or collected on campus.  Central Receiving staff will receive all small parcel, express letter and freight deliveries for the scheduled day, with a reminder that campus deliveries will not be available.  All UAH personnel are welcome to come by Central Receiving and Mail Services to pick up packages and mail and leave out-going mail.  To allow time for processing, please plan to come pick up your mail and packages on Thursday, December 28, 2023 between the hours of 10AM to Noon (Central Time Zone).

 

All Bulk (Standard) Mailings must be submitted to Mail Services by 2:00PM (Central Time Zone) on Friday, December 15, 2023. 

 

In addition, no industrial gases or laboratory alcohol will be delivered during the holidays.  Orders for industrial gases or laboratory alcohol received after 5:00PM on Friday, December 15, 2023 will not by processed until after the holiday break. 

 

The surplus property area will be closed and no surplus pickups will be scheduled during UAH’s Christmas and New Year holiday break.  

 

The Central Receiving and Mail Services will return to normal business operations on Tuesday, January 2, 2024.
