It's that time again! UAH's Week of Welcome (WOW) is a campus wide initiative intended to welcome both new and returning students to campus for the Fall semester.
The upcoming semester's events will occur Saturday, August 13 - Saturday, August 20, 2022.
The success of Week of Welcome depends heavily on the support of our student organizations, academic colleges, and campus departments. We hope you will consider hosting an event during this time.
We ask that all events be submitted no later than Tuesday, May 31, 2022. Events submitted after this date will be included on all electronic promotional materials but may not be included on any printed materials.
Week of Welcome hosts a number of signature coordinated programs and events that enhance students' UAH adventure. During this week, students can participate in campus traditions, shared experiences, and different support services. These programs are geared to help students find their place on campus, make friends, and start off the semester on the right foot. The attached list highlights our signature WOW events.
PLEASE NOTE:
Submissions scheduled during any WOW signature/tradition event will NOT be approved as a Week of Welcome activity. Please reference the TRADITION EVENT LIST when planning your department's/organization's activities.
