The ATTAC (Advanced Teaming, Technology, Automation and Cognition) Lab focuses on the ways in which humans interact with current and future systems. We are interested in what it means for robots to become teammates, how human drivers interact with driverless cars, and even how we can design AI systems to understand the human in ways similar to how we understand ourselves. This all sits upon our strong foundation in Human Factors, human-centered design, and user experience (UX). The ATTAC lab is interested in shaping the future of where humans and technology meet.
