Inspire and Lead with UAH

The UAH Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing program provides a pathway for entry into professional nursing practice. Our nursing courses are taught by faculty who have clinical expertise in their subject areas. Students complete more than 900 clinical clock hours in preparation for an exciting and challenging career as a nursing professional. We also offer summer electives with a concentrated clinical focus in areas such as critical care, emergency care, and perioperative nursing.  The UAH College of Nursing is fully accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE) and was redesignated an NLN Center of Excellence in Nursing Education in 2022.

The UAH College of Nursing partners with several area community colleges to offer an innovative Dual Nursing Degree Program option. Students simultaneously enroll in an Associate Degree in Nursing program at the community college level and the UAH RN - Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing program. Students can complete the degree requirements for both programs in as little as five semesters. All courses for the Associate Degree are conducted in person at the area community college. All bachelors courses are completed online. To learn more about this exciting opportunity to earn your nursing degree, schedule an appointment to speak with our program adviser today! The program is an attractive option for individuals who have earned a previous degree or substantial college credit.
