The Student Success Center partners with the colleges and departments to provide tailored support programs. BLUE Groups BLUE (Be Learners United in Excellence) Groups are designed to provide College of Arts, Humanities, and Social Sciences students with dedicated time to work on individual tasks, learn and practice productive study habits, and connect with peers. BLUE Groups are not based on a topic or course, but rather a group of CAHS majors who want to improve their academics. Study groups meet weekly in Morton Hall and are facilitated by an SSC student leader. Meetings will be 90 minutes long, with 60 minutes of individual work time and 30 minutes of group discussion on a key success topic. Topics include prioritizing time, habit-building, tackling large papers/projects, maintaining motivation, managing stress, etc. APPLY NOW FOR FALL 2025 BLUE GROUPS Learning Assistants The Learning Assistant (LA) Program provides in-class academic support to students enrolled in targeted Math classes. Learning Assistants support students individually and in small groups by assisting them in deepening their understanding of course content, developing critical thinking and collaborative skills, and elevating their confidence and ability to solve problems on their own.
