Access CITI training for affiliated and non-affiliated individuals. Certificates are required for IRB approval.

The following CITI training modules must accompany your IRB application:

  • Human Subjects Research: All key personnel (PIs, co-investigators, research staff who interact with subjects or access private information) must complete the CITI Human Subjects Research (Basic) course before IRB approval.

    Valid for 3 years

  • Conflicts of Interest (COI): All researchers engaged in research must complete the COI training.

    Valid for 4 years

  • Responsible Conduct of Research (RCR): Required for all faculty, staff, postdocs, graduate and undergraduate students involved in research. Should be completed within 90 days of initiating research.

    Valid for 4 years.

  • Export Compliance: Researchers involved in projects requiring export control compliance must complete the Export Compliance module annually.

  • Care & Use of Animals: Required if working with animals (for IACUC).

    Valid for 3 years.>
