Budget and Information Salary Increase Calendar | Creating Merit ePAF Transactions

ePAF Deadline

  • Deadline to submit ePAFs for employees who will receive a merit increase

  • Ensure the merit salary is the amount submitted and approved by the Budgets Office for the 2022-2023 Fiscal Year

September 13

Human Resources Preparation and Verification Process

  • Human Resources begins the process to prepare salary letters and verify/approve ePAFs
  • Letters will be distributed electronically via Google Drive
September 21 - October 4 Compensation and job changes are not permitted during this specific pay period
September 28

Salary Letter Distribution to Departments

  • Salary letters will be available electronically through Google Drive for department review
  • HR will share each google folder with each designated department liaison (Budget Analyst/Staff Assistant/Resource Manager/Budget Unit Head) that will be responsible for review and distribution of salary letters
October 1 Effective date for salary increase
October 4 Deadline for Departments to submit corrections for letter reprint
October 12

Salary Letter Distribution

  • Distribute salary letters to employees by sharing Google drive URL unique to each individual employee or by printing a paper copy of the letter
October 14

Payroll check reflecting the new 2022 -2023 salary is issued. (Partial – 2 days of the new salary)
