Creating Merit ePAF Transactions

ePAF Deadline

  • Deadline to submit ePAFs for employees who will receive a merit increase
  • ePAF Query/Effective Date: October 1, 2025
  • Ensure the merit salary is the amount submitted and approved by the Budgets Office for the 2025-26 Fiscal Year.
  • Any changes to the salary previously submitted to the Budgets office requires their approval before the ePAFs is created.
September 30

Human Resources Preparation and Verification Process

  • Human Resources begins the process to prepare salary letters and verify/approve ePAFs
  • Letters will be distributed electronically via Google Drive
October 1 - 14  Compensation and job changes are not permitted during this specific pay period
October 1 0 - 17

Salary Letter Distribution to Departments

  • HR will share each google folder with each designated department liaison (Budget Analyst/Staff Assistant/Resource Manager/Budget Unit Head) that will be responsible for review and distribution salary letters.
  • Departments should submit requests for corrections and reprints of letters.
October 20

Salary Letter Distribution

  • Distribute salary letters to employees by sharing Google drive URL unique to each individual employee or by printing a paper copy of the letter
October 24

Payroll check reflecting the new 2025 -2026 salary is issued.
