Life-defining moments in higher education
- Internship experiences which helped me understand how classroom frameworks are applied.
- Mentorship from one of my field instructors that helped me stay motivated and feel like I was supported.
- Friendships that are still with me in the present day.
While in college, I experienced
- Being the oldest sibling and the first to go to college.
- Change of major and lots of uncertainty and anxiety about what I wanted to do with my life.
- Transferring to another university for one semester during my sophomore year, and then returning to my original school when it ultimately wasn’t the right fit for me.
- Working part-time.
