The Department of Music is home to two recording studios. Studios feature a fully enclosed control room with state-of-the-art interfaces and modern equipment. Studios are acoustically treated to be an optimal mixing environment. “Studio A” is connected to the recital hall backstage area, which is also acoustically treated and can be used as a live recording room. The recital hall is also connected via audio and video, using multiple remote-controlled cameras, allowing us to live-stream HD audio and video of our concerts and events! Music Production is excellent in this room, with Ableton Live integration and MIDI control of various analogue synthesizers. With stadium seating accommodating up to 15 students, this room also functions as a lecture area for our Music Technology courses.
