Registration for the 2023 BIG Event is NOW OPEN!

First established at The University of Alabama in Huntsville in 2011, The BIG Event is an annual tradition of engaging in community service in the greater Huntsville community. Students, student organizations, faculty, staff, alumni, and numerous other members of the Charger community rally together and serve to say THANK YOU to the people of Huntsville/Madison County. The service projects span numerous nonprofit organizations and public schools across Huntsville and Madison County.Carpooling is recommended for all students and RSO service teams. For individuals that would otherwise require provided transportation, there is a service project that will begin on campus to clean and care for portions of Sparkman Drive north of campus.

All participants will receive a Chick-Fil-A breakfast and an event T-shirt.
