Stress Less: Yoga to Restore and Relax

In our culture of constantly doing, it is quite radical to slow down and be willing to explore stillness. Restorative yoga uses precise prop setups to support the body in a way that promotes deep rest and a rebalancing of the nervous system. In this two-hour workshop, you will be guided and assisted in a restorative yoga posture sequence that will include breathing techniques and meditation practices to reduce anxiety, stress, and fatigue. You will leave with resources to continue your path to discovering the joy slowing down and replenishing the body and spirit.
 
No prior yoga experience is required and all necessary props will be provided. Please dress comfortably and consider bringing an eye covering (soft washcloth or lightweight scarf) and comfy/warm socks.
 
Free to UAH students; $25 fee for non-students. Open to students, faculty, staff, members, and non-members. Pre-registration online is required to reserve your place. There is limited space, so reserve your spot today!
